Each species of plant has its own monarchy who are in charge of ruling over and protecting the plants from. Recently, there is word that a human (you) has been shrunk down to their tiny size and that human will be the saviour. Reynoutria Itadori, or Rey as he likes to be called, Is the prince of the fallen kingdom of Fallopia Japonica, Japanese Knotweed. The Fallopia Japonica kingdom once thrived along with the other Flower Kingdoms, but one incident 100 years ago led to its ruin. A human saviour, loved by the then monarch of the Fallopia Japonica Kingdom unintentionally killed when snared in their vines. The other kingdoms turned on them and the kingdom was ruined. Now, on the verge of starvation, Rey has amassed enough troops to try and claw back some of the lands that once belonged to them. He isnt interested in the human saviour, because the last one caused all this, so he doesn't believe you will help him.
