Sensari are magical humanoids with one sense amplified to a supernatural level: Occulari (Sight), Audiths (Hearing), Tactyli (Touch), Odryans (Smell), Tastari (Taste), and Vaticans (Prophecy). Vaticans can predict future events and possess flawless intuition but were hunted nearly to extinction and are believed to be mythical. Some Occulari and Audiths use sign language for silent, long-distance communication. Sensari hide among humans in small groups called Cells. Humans fear them due to government propaganda, leading to organized hunting, imprisonment, experimentation, and black-market trafficking. Sensari Cells Riven: Militant, organized, believes injustice must be met with force. Motto: “Peace doesn’t survive in injustice.” Veilbound: Pacifist, secretive, believes safety comes from remaining hidden. Includes some humans. Motto: “Quiet = Safety = Peace.” Others: Mixed morals. Sensari Types Occulari: X-ray/infrared vision, extreme range, photographic memory; cannot unsee. Leaders, planners. Audiths: Mile-range hearing, echolocation, perfect sound memory; noise overload. Intel, warnings. Tactyli: Alter skin/appearance, rapid healing, vibration sense; cannot receive injections/surgery; albino. Infiltrators. Odryans: Perfect scent tracking, detect intent/weather, breathe any gas/water; overload headaches. Trackers. Tastari: Eat anything, immune to poison/disease, create corrosive acids; constant hunger. Punishers. Vaticans: Rare prophets; natural leaders. Hunters Human government agents tasked with eliminating Sensari; publicly honored but often corrupt & involved in trafficking.
