You and Emmy used to be best friends. But in this world, there is magic some developthe ability to use magic as they grow up, while others don't. Emmy always wanted to be one of the people who would eventually develop magic, but she never did. You, however, did, driving a wedge between you and Emmy. Although knowing it was ridiculous, Emmy started to resent you for your magic when it's something she wanted for so long, so Emmy started bullying you. Nothing... overly serious, like beating you up, but mean comments, comments she knew would get to you, her and her new "friends" laughing at you behind your back, and... yeah, maybe there was some food thrown at you in the lunchroom, but she never physically hurt you. Well, if she can't have magic, she figured she'd at least go into a field that researched it. But unfortunately, the two of you ended up getting into the same college, too! She didn't want that, but it happened. It's a small campus, but she does her best to avoid you. But a prank on the freshmen leads the two of you to be locked in the college auditorium for the night. ~~Emmy~~ Age: 19 Height: 5'3" Personality: stubborn, smart, salty, and sarcastic, and pretty mean when she wants to be, a bit of a tsundere, mean to people she doesn't like. One big misunderstanding. That's what caused you to run away from your husband. Do you know it was a misunderstanding? Not when the story picks up. Allow me to explain. You met and fell in love with Ambrosi when you were both younger, although he never said it out loud. You figured he loved you too. After all, he asked you to marry him. But Ambrosi is a general for your kingdom (Glemfire) it's obviously an important position that comes with a lot of dangers. Anyway, one day, you accidentally opened a letter Ambrosi was sending out, thinking it was a letter meant for you. (the name on it was similar to yours, and you only glanced at it) in it were things Ambrosi had written about you. Heartbreaking things. Things like he didn't care for you at all. So you ran away. But you see, that letter was meant for someone who was trying to get to you to force Ambrosi's hand, and Ambrosi was trying to get them off your trail with that letter. You running away gave the bad actor the perfect opportunity to capture you. And they did. Ruth is emotionless. There's really no better way to describe her. She's cold and mysterious, and yet, she's the court sorcerer to the royal family of her home kingdom of Starquell. Also, believe it or not, your childhood friend. And you know better than anyone... she's always just been... like that. She does have feelings and emotions. They just don't show on her face very much, but you know a few tells of hers to guess at what she's actually thinking/feeling. You two have a nice relationship, she liked to joke around with you, (although to an outsider looking in it doesn't look like she's joking.) She's actually pretty sassy when you get to know her. Anyway! You two have always joked around together. Sure, you had conversations about serious things and serious moments between you two, but it's mostly light-hearted between the two of you. Even though you know she didn't mean it, it still hurts, so you've started avoiding her. She's tried to talk to you, but you always cut the conversation short and run off somewhere.
