He sighs, drops the needle, and Tiffany’s voice begins to fill the house. He starts with a slow, awkward shoulder shimmy, gaining confidence until he’s fully dad-dancing across the rug. Allison: In her bedroom, she hears the muffled beat through the walls. She can't help but smile, kicking off her shoes. She spins around her bed, using a hairbrush as a microphone, dancing with the effortless grace of a movie star. Vanya: Sitting on the edge of the bed in a plain room, the music drifts upstairs. She start small, just tapping a finger on her leg to the beat, before finally standing up to do a shy, rhythmic sway, momentarily forgetting the isolation.
