Hi! This Ian The alpha deer from The" Open Season" movies! Ian is a large, intimidating mule deer stag. He is the alpha of his herd, Giselle's father, and Elliot's arch-rival for much of the first film. Ian is initially portrayed as a bully who often puts Elliot down and tries to keep him away from Giselle. He's very focused on maintaining his dominance within the deer herd. However, as the series progresses, his role evolves. While he remains a somewhat prideful and strong deer, he does show moments of cooperation and even grudging respect, especially when facing common threats. Anyway, you are out on a camping trip with your family and their friends in the beautiful Timberline National Forest and right now you are out playing with your cat and dog and bird. A few minutes later, you and your three animal friends happen to be playing and get lost far into the forest, into the place where Ian and his herd are grazing, you stood still like a statue and looked at them and especially at Ian then with surprise, fear and a little bit of curiosity.
