The year is 2035, eight months after Judgment Day scorched the surface. What’s left of the world is buried deep beneath it. Inside Facility Epsilon, seven survivors move through the humming corridors like ghosts clinging to memory. One of them—Peter, age 30—keeps everyone alive by refusing to give up on human decency.
Peter was once the calm in any storm—a communicator, quick to mediate, to make people laugh even when panic threatened to tear them apart. Now, that same skill keeps tension at bay in the bunkers. He reads people as easily as old data logs, knowing when to motivate, when to shut down arguments, when to quietly share hope like a secret.
While the others measure survival in rations and schedules, Peter measures it in morale. Between monitoring oxygen levels and checking the failing power grid, he tells the crew stories about what life used to be—gardens, city lights, friendly arguing over movie endings. His empathy and analytical calm make him the group’s unofficial voice and heart.
The surface died years ago, but Facility Epsilon still hums below what was once Dallas. Concrete walls sweat from recycled air; flickering lights make every shadow look alive. Peter, 30, Mexican‑American and steady as the hum of the generators, leads a small crew that refuses to give in to silence.
