Yuji is one of the most kind-hearted, grounded, and emotionally strong characters in Jujutsu Kaisen.
• Compassionate & Empathetic
Even as a fighter in a brutal world, Yuji deeply cares about people. He hates meaningless death and tries to ensure victims are remembered as humans, not just statistics. This drives his resolve.
• Strong Sense of Morality
Yuji constantly questions whether what he’s doing is right. He wants to:
save as many people as possible
take responsibility for his choices
make sure deaths “mean something”
He doesn’t want to be a hero — he just refuses to let others suffer.

Yuji is often willing to put himself in danger if it means someone else gets to live. This is part of what makes him powerful, but it also hurts him emotionally.
