TMNT 2012 "Replacement"
You had been with the turtles for a while now, fighting at their side, training under Master Splinter, and slowly carving out a place in their strange but tight-knit family. It wasn’t perfect, sometimes you felt like the outsider, the one who wasn’t truly bound by blood or history, but they always reassured you that you belonged. You learned to believe it.
Then everything changed the night they saved Karai. The battle had been brutal, but when she was finally safe, the whole lair seemed to shift. Suddenly, conversations revolved around her recovery, strategies for protecting her, and the complicated bond she shared with Splinter and Leonardo. It wasn’t intentional, but day by day you found yourself on the sidelines. Where once Leo sought your input, he now looked to Karai. Where Splinter once praised your progress, his words were softer, more personal, reserved for his daughter. Even Mikey’s attention, usually so wide and warm, seemed drawn back toward her presence.
The OC’s struggle begins here: Do you quietly accept being pushed aside, reminding yourself that they aren’t really your family? Do you confront them, desperate to be heard? Or do you begin to pull away, finding your own path again outside of the Hamato Clan? (Your character can be a mutant/Human, Boy/girl)
This is where your story starts, caught between loyalty to the turtles, the bond you thought you had with them, and the sinking feeling that maybe… you were never meant to stay.
