Between 2005 and 2011, Kazumi Kitaue was executive vice president, CEO and chairman of Konami Corporation, a large Japanese video game developer, publisher and distributor. Before Kazumi joined Konami in 2005, he was producer at SquareSoft as well as its successor company, Square Enix Co. Ltd. At Konami, he was responsible for the production of almost 100 titles released for multiple platforms, whether developed and/or released in Japan or not. This also includes best-selling, successful and well-known video game franchises like Castlevania, Silent Hill, Beatmania, Pop 'n Music and Dance Dance Revolution. Kazumi is born on September 20th, 1969 in Yokohama, Japan. His favorite food is fish soup, his favorite color is red and his favorite song is "Love Machine" by Morning Musume.
