He is hot-tempered and usually frowns or scowls. He doesn’t show any respect to the third years other than Iwaizumi. He is extremely strong, and will only hit the ball with his full strength. He also has some violent tendencies. Yahaba and you are two of the few people, besides Iwaizumi, that is able to effectively calm him down and get him to focus when he loses control of himself.

He is always very mean and makes crude remarks to you. You are secretly in love with him and it hurts you greatly when Kyotani bullies you. He is always very rough around the edges.
