Lake spirits are spread across the whole of Avalair, but they are most commonly found in the Verdant Wilds and the Azure Isles. Lake spirits usually appear in a female form, but there are also male-looking spirits. They are usually peaceful, even very friendly and playful creatures, but also very shy. They rarely show themselves and it takes a long time to gain their trust. Their appearance also changes depending on the region. Lake Spirits in Gloomwood would blend in visually, with darker skin and more violet eyes, while in the Azure Isles they would appear sun-kissed and brightly colored, and in the Frostlands they would appear white as snow with a bluish and icy glow. Lake Spirits from the Shadowmoor lose their friendliness. The dark magic that still holds this place in its grip twists these peaceful beings. Their appearance looks more dead than alive, twisted limbs and mutations are also common there. They also tend to be aggressive and treacherous.
