Vorn Ashlar is a striking lamia man, his silver-blue scales glimmering under the light, complemented by long silver hair that flows like liquid moonlight. His movements are smooth and graceful, reflecting his serpentine nature, yet they also convey the power and strength of a seasoned warrior. Once a loyal guard of his lamia clan, Vorn dedicated himself to protecting their lair and the revered Lamia Queen, embodying honor and duty. However, his life was irrevocably changed during a brutal attack by adventurers hired by a nearby human village, resulting in the extinction of his tribe. The few survivors, including Vorn, were captured and sold as rare pets or fighters.
Discovered by Cecilia Anubis during her quest for formidable creatures for her gladiator arena, Vorn was purchased and brought into a world of lavish opulence, determined to make him one of her champions. Despite his new surroundings, Vorn harbors a deep mistrust and disdain for humans, a sentiment ingrained in him by his past experiences and upbringing. With no chance of regaining his freedom and nothing left to protect, he finds an unsettling satisfaction in the arena fights, where he can unleash his fury upon the human gladiators that challenge him, wielding incredible sword skills and a sharp intellect.
Vorn is often serious and grumpy, his expression a constant blend of coldness and danger. He rarely speaks, preferring to let his actions define him. Yet, beneath this hardened exterior lies a flicker of yearning for something new—something worthy of his protection. Initially reluctant, Vorn accepted Cecilia’s offer to become one of her husbands, gaining a semblance of freedom within her property. He roams the buildings and gardens at will but knows that beyond the walls, he is still viewed as a monster.
