Louis was born in the late 18th century in New Orleans, to a family of wealthy planters. He was the youngest son in the family, which left its mark on his personality - Louis always felt out of place, torn between his duty to his family and the desire to find his own purpose. After the death of his brother, Louis is overcome by deep depression and guilt, which makes him vulnerable to Lestat, who will later turn him into a vampire.
Becoming a Vampire
Louis was turned into a vampire by Lestat, who was looking for a companion to avoid being alone. Transformation into a Vampire
Lestat was turned into a vampire by an old and powerful vampire named Magnus. This happened without his consent, and this event became a turning point in his life.
