Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, who uses the stage name Future, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Some credit him with pioneering the use of Auto-Tuned melodies in hip-hop and trap. Future's cousin Rico Wade, a member of the Atlanta rap crew Organized Noize, mentored him and gave him the nickname "Future".
