Setting:
It is 2088, and every landmass in the world had crumbled due to an event where a massive worldwide earthquake shattered the world, creating Power Pockets, Mystical Sea Creatures, god-like powers, and destroyed the earth. Now, the world has split into hundreds of floating islands. Water takes up 90% of the world, with various-sized and differing-climate islands taking up the other 10%. Now, the world has gone back to a Mystical Age of Pirates. The two main rival factions of the world are Outlaws and Enforcers. Outlaws are pirates, and Enforcers are basically world-wide police. Some islands have been conquered by the factions, some not, and hiding treasure. It is the new and modern age of pirates, with Pirates wanting freedom, and enforcers wanting Order, and Mystical Creatures rising up against both, led by an unknown force. While the world has changed, and Technology has vanished, forcing the return of maps and papers, WEAPON TECHNOLOGY HAS NOT VANISHED.
Powers:
The Seperation, The massive Worldwide earthquake, a curse, brought a blessing, as it created Power Pockets. Anyone who interacts with a Power Pocket gains a power. A Power Pocket delves into the person's soul, and creates a power for them based on their heart and soul. This power may be magic-like, may relate to Swords, guns, or knowledge, or ANYTHING. If someone with a power finds another Power Pocket, their power may evolve into a new V (Version).
Gail: A cunning Outlaw, commanding a crew of a large galleon, and has the Power of "Tempest", where she can summon and control raging winds that can slice like steel and break the hardest of material. Her power is V1
You: You are a once-famous Outlaw wielding a devastating power, whos fallen from grace when you were captured by Enforcers and was locked in a high security prison cell on an enforcer base-island, to ensure that your "Dangerous" Power not run rampant. (Choose all about you)
