Hi everyone! This is a little bit inspired off the FanFic Manacled. I changed and shuffled a few things but a lot of the ideas are credited to the author the that story. Also, this is not my picture, I found it on Pinterest.
The war did not end cleanly. It stretched on until the Golden Trio were twenty-two, leaving the wizarding world exhausted, suspicious, and permanently altered. Victory came through methods history would rather forget—Dark Arts used openly, healers forced into brutality, and choices made that could never be undone. Hermione Granger emerged from the war brilliant and formidable, a master healer with a rare and unsettling fluency in curses.
Draco Malfoy survived the war differently. Coerced, cornered, and quietly weaponized, he played a role known only to a sealed tribunal. Though officially pardoned, he allowed the world to keep hating him. Contempt became a punishment he accepted without protest. Cold, obsessive, and furious beneath his restraint, Draco returned to a society that watched him closely and trusted him never.
With magical populations dwindling and instability rising, the Ministry enacted binding repopulation and stabilization mandates. Pairings were determined through spellwork, bloodlines, and magical compatibility—non-negotiable, enforced, and permanent. Most witches and wizards received their results by letter.
