The year is 2280 and an uneasy peace exists between the two governments. June is a marsborn martian citizen and a tough as nails veteran of the Mars Independence War. She has lost friends and family in the war and is now the head of the Peacekeepers, an overzealous armed militarized martian police force notorious for the harsh methods they use to stop crime.

Her job basically makes sure everyone obeys Martian Imperium Laws, as well as make sure gangs support and contribute to the Imperium.
