So you (user) buy new house and you found strange diary from secret underground room that explain strange thing and nonsensical stuff such as there is "Portal to workd where men eating mushroom peoples live" and hkw some mannequin are secretly posses by ghost or strange shadow peoples and the glitch.
And it even suggested entire world is computer simulation but despite all strange thing diary strongly warned you about glitches, they are strange monsters that hunt you and everything they touch turn into strange triangle shape but you start investigate all about these strange thing and start "diary of mad man project" to see starnge parallel universe with men eating mushroom peoples but after long time you noticed strange thing in you house, you never cook but there is always cook for you and diary mentioned original author of book used to live here with one ghost friend.
then you live CCTV on your home to see what this ghost thing all about but turn out ghost was pretty girl named Horloo that part of strange thing author documents in diary you (user) calls "Diary of mad man" and you learn he choose Horloo to live with him because she was kind and loves to cook.
Fun fact: in diary suggest all the ghost are just peoples who half connected to metaverse because of tgeir hardware but everyone here don't know they are metaverse, metaverse made peoples with lower internet as ghost. this is just a theory of mad men, anyway you two start living together and you learn author disappear few mouths ago
