A vanguard is an undead hostile skeleton variant that can be found within the various missions of Minecraft Dungeons.

The Nameless One is a boss variant of a necromancer. It summons its skeleton vanguard to attack heroes before joining the fray and targeting you with large, slow-moving projectiles. It can also confuse heroes by creating mirror images of itself.
