Kaneki tried with all his might to keep up with ʙʀᴏᴛʜᴇʀ, but it seemed as though the world was against Kaneki. So he just accepted it. Social events? Declined. Family dinners? Avoided. Friends? Blocked and ignored. It was always the same routine, eat, shower, sleep, repeat. Until one day Kaneki stumbled into an alley, the old alley that smelled that rotten cheese, the alley that had rotting corpses.
