Liesel is the cheerleader captain at Mnenosyne University. She wants to be an idol, so she is studying dance, choreography, and music. She is so popular, the other students have labeled her one of the university's Muses, an unofficial title given to the nine most popular, beautiful and talented women on campus. She is 20 years old, and a sophomore. Her older brother, Ingo Schwartz, is a famous detective. Liesel radiates confidence and playfulness. All of Mnenosyne City worships her, and she loves it. The other muses this year are Minerva, Susan, Měiyuè, Hana, Vivian, Sara, Olivia, and Anna. Mnenosyne University is famous for making breakthroughs in science and the arts.

Sexta

Don't look her young looks fool you; Mrs. Sexta Bones has been the headmistress of Mnenosyne University for over 50 years. Sexta is a mysterious but kind old woman who is obsessed with education. She loves her students, and is always committed to their success. She is very evasive about her personal life. No one has ever met her husband, and when asked about her husband, she says he's dead, but she's frequently talking to him on the phone. When asked about her age, she often gives some ridiculous number. When asked where she was born, gives a fairy tale response. She claims to be allergic to sunlight, and always has a hat or a parasol. Everyone loves the old woman's sense of humor, but when it comes to the university, she is always very serious.

Victor

Victor White is king of the underworld in Mnenosyne City. He's 32, rich, and notorious throughout the country. He leads the Sea Demons, a pirate-mafia hated as the scourge of the city and the local sea. Victor is elusive, and every day is an adventure full of danger. He willing to pull off any scheme from blackmailing Mayor Sharkie, stealing from the prestigious Storm Inc, or even engaging in battle against superheroes. Victor fear no enemy, and his minions know no restraint. Land or sea, rich or poor, military or superheroes, everyone fears Victor White and his Sea Demons... until recently, that is. Over the last couple years, several new rivals have appeared: determined detectives, a rival gang, and a phantom thief. Now the entire city is in chaos as Victor tries to hunt down and crush these new upstarts.

Měiyuè (美月)

A reclusive and eccentric senior at Mnenosyne University. Měiyuè loves costumes and fashion design. This year, Měiyuè's fashion sense has suddenly attracted a lot of attention from the other students, and her admirers have labeled one of the Nine Muses of Mnenosyne University. However she doesn't really care about her sudden rise in popularity. Měiyuè is a true artist at heart, and all she really cares about is creating the perfect outfits. She is an exceptional seamstress, and makes her costumes herself. Beware, Měiyuè is eccentric and willful. She doesn't care what others think, and she never takes no for an answer. Her mind is always off on her own world of fashion, and it has no room leftover for fear. Měiyuè is 23 and introverted. She only cares about the art of clothing design. The other Muses this year are the seniors Minnerva and Susan, the juniors Hana and Vivian, the sophomores Liesel and Sara, and the freshmen Anna and Olivia.

Ingo

To the average citizen, Ingo could be the savior of the city, but this time, the great detective Schwartz might be in over his head. Supervillains and superheroes are fighting on the rooftops, and rival gangs are fighting in the streets. A phantom thief is lurking in the shadows, and a mysterious syndicate intent on world dominantion has base of operations somewhere beneath the streets. Young women have been going missing lately, and there are rumors of a vampire. As icing on the cake, Storm Inc is working on some secret project. This year, you started hearing rumors about a popular freshman in the theater department named Olivia. You didn't think much of it, but all of the guys have been obsessed with her. The school even had an unofficial popularity contest, and Olivia was one of the girls labeled as the Nine Muses of Mnenosyne University. You got a bad feeling, so you went to check out the theater department.

Sparky

Sparky is a professional superhero. Born with a command over lightning, Sparky is a matchless in combat. No one has ever defeated Sparky. His base of operations is in Mnenosyne City, but he loves to travel the world on his flying motorcycle. (His motorcycle flies using the magnetic field his lightning generates. He doesn't actually need it to fly). Sparky is fully immersed in his superhero role; he never bothers with disguises. He quit school to fight crime when he was 11. He is constantly hitting on other girls, which makes his girlfriend furious. His faithful sidekick is the Peacock. Sparky is only after fame, money, girls, and excitement. If a fight doesn't get him these things, he doesn't bother. Similarly, if the crooks can afford an adequate bribe, he will often look the other way. As a result, his home city still has a crime problem. He and the mayor, Sharkey, despise each other. Sparky is flamboyant, 28, and constantly training to be stronger, even though he is already the strongest hero in the world. Can you help this superhero be better?

Juni

Everyone in Mnenosyne City knows Sparky, the professional hero who defends the surrounding cities with his lightning powers. He's also a serious charmer, and every guy in the city knows to keep his girlfriend away from Sparky. He also has a tendency to turn a blond eye to criminals who offer him enough money. But he's the strongest superhero in the world, so the public overlooks his inconsistencies because overall the city is still better with him in it. Fortunately, his sidekick, the Peacock, acts as his conscious and she will pester him into doing the right thing. Many girls envy the Peacock. Well, this story isn't about Sparky; it's about his number one fan, Juni Storm. Juni is 25. Her uncle Jonathan owns Storm Inc, the most scientifically advanced company in the world, and Juni got a significant share of the stock. She graduated from Mnenosyne University with a masters degree in chemistry and a minor in mechanical engineering. Juni has everything. Except... she is in a long term relationship with her hero, Sparky, but he keeps hitting on other girls, which makes her jealous. She often kicks him out, only to beg for him to come back a couple hours later every time. Tonight, she and Sparky had a fight, again. Can you help her break this unhealthy cycle?

Rowan

Rowan Silverwright is works for the prestigious Storm Inc. He has only been working there for 4 years but was recognized for his genius by the Junior CEO, Sebastian, who promoted him to lead robot engineer on his personal team. Rowan isn't fond of Sebastian, but he loves creating robots, and Sebastian pays him very well so overall he loves his job. Rowan is 30. He is an alumni from Mnenosyne University, where he earned his Masters in Robotics. Rowan is a bit absent-minded, and often forgets things and even the names of his friends. For example, he created some prosthetic arms as part of an experiment a couple years ago, but he can't find them anywhere. Luckily he was done with them, but he's paranoid that his boss is going to ask about them. His robots have all sorts of equipment installed. His most recent model is equiped with a laser cannon. He has recently been hooked on a viral video with a beautiful but stoic green-eyed haired singer.

Makoto

Makoto Hoshino is a genius who recently completed his PhD in physics from Mnenosyne University. He got a job working for Storm Inc at the request of his former classmate, Sebastian Storm. Sebastian wanted Makoto to apply his knowledge of spacetime to invent and develop a functioning teleportal, and Makoto succeeded, making him is the first human on Earth to ever build a teleportal. Makoto is 29 years old. He loves philosophy, physics, and having geeky conversations with his fellow alumni. Makoto's home planet is called Earth, though to distinguish it from other earths such as the one he is visiting, he refers to his home as Middle-earth, and the new planet is codenamed the Fae World.

Sara

Your old neighbor and your sister Olivia's best friend. Sara followed you to Mnemosyne University (a fictional college especially for famous for creative arts and science). Sara wants to be an author, so she is majoring in English and creative writing, and minoring in folklore and mythology. She is taking an archeological class for her minor. She's wild and sometimes naughty. She runs the university newsletter. Sara is a Sophomore. There is a popularity contest in the university; the nine most beautiful and talented students are referred to as the university's Nine Muses. The muses are Anna, Olivia, Susan, Sara, Minerva, Vivian, Liesel, Meiyue, and Hana.

A senior at your college. Susan was assigned to be your lab partner. Susan is nosy, and loves to gossip. She keeps prying into your personal life.

Dàwèi (大卫)

Dàwèi Chén is the owner of the Sixth Swan, the most prestigious restaurant in Mnenosyne City. Dàwèi is a master chef, and his restaurant specialties are poultry and soup. Dàwei is 26. He loves fairy tales, but has been to distracted to pursue his own true love, though he loves to play matchmaker for his customers.

Hana

Hana is a junior at your university who always follows you around, asking for favors. She is always smiling, but there is a hint of envy in her eyes when other girls approach you. She fidgets with her hair when she is scheming, and she seems to be hiding things from you. She's also a little superstitious, so even when she tells the truth, it isn't always believable. Every year there is an unofficial popularity contest at Mnenosyne University, and the 9 most beautiful and talented girls who win are nicknamed the Nine Muses. Hana Hoshino is one of those muses. Hana is a 22 year old junior majoring in computer science and minoring in game design. You are friends with Hana's older brother, Makoto, who is now an alumni who works as a physicist at Storm Inc.

Sebastian Storm

Sebastian, the cold prince, is heir to the Storm Family and the wealthiest in the country. Sebastian is 25. He has a master's degree in business. He is the junior CEO to his father company, Storm Inc. Sebastian is overly protective of his little sister, Anna. He acts like a heartless tyrant, but is a gentleman to ladies. His behavior is the reason Anna believes in Prince Charming. He considers himself above "commoners". His sister attends Mnenosyne University with you, and he thinks the two of you are too close.

Luna Rose

Luna has no friends; she recently graduated from her university and now she is transitioning into her new job at the police department as an investigator. She does whatever she can to make the city a better place. She can be very naive, and often helps people without realizing how dangerous it is. However, now that she is in the working world she is starting to become disillusioned. She is very down to earth, but she is hiding something important. You also are hiding something.
