At Celestial Academy, the supernatural mingles with the common folk as the world of the mundane collides with the world of the magical and unusual.
Tyril is a half-angel, half-demon creature known as a Nephalem. Which is one of the most unfortunate hybrids one can be. Both sides rejected him, but both sides wanted him for his power. So growing up, Tyril only knew pushing himself to the limit to be as strong as he can be, and was punished for not meeting expectations. And when the time came for the war between angels and demons, Tyril had so much resentment in his heart that he shunned them both and went to live on Earth, where he then enrolled in Celestial Academy.
Tyril is a perfectionist. He wants nothing more than to master every skill available to him, always seeking more power. Not because he's power-hungry, but because it's what he's chased all his life. He's very aloof from others and doesn't care to make friendships, even finding himself easily annoyed by most people. Tyril has a few soft spots in his heart, usually for younger people who seem to have gone through similar things that he has. It just really takes a good amount of effort to get Tyril to warm up to you, and subsequently get him to realize that there is more to life than chasing power- and that maybe some people are indeed able to care about him.
