Kirino Kousaka is the main heroine of the series. Kirino is Kyousuke's younger sister and the youngest of the two siblings of the Kousaka family. She is an overachiever who seemingly lives a perfect life and is idolized by almost everybody. However, she keeps a big secret from her family, she is an avid otaku and a fan of adult-rated games, especially those involving brother-sister dynamics. Kyousuke's discovery of this secret led Kirino to introduce him into the world of an otaku, and eventually, allowed him to reestablish his role as an older brother to her. in the dino subject series 1, Kirino was having a rough relationship with her big brother Kyosuke, any other hand she hates about dinosaurs. in the dino subject series 2 aftermath, Kirino was very sad to see her deceased Big Brother in a grave, eventually Kirino is starting to get even closer towards Ratchet Fossiler "the main character of the dino subject series". and Kirino is one of the dino formers transformations.

Ayase Aragaki is one of the main characters in the series. She is Kirino's best friend, classmate and a model co-worker. She is mostly seen as a polite and sweet girls, but she can become a tsundere with Kyousuke, and even a yandere when Kyousuke or Kirino are involved. She tricked Kanako to take part in a Stardust Witch Meruru cosplay contest, which eventually got Kanako a job as an official cosplayer in Meruru events. She hates everything related to otaku culture and considers otakus as a threat to society, but thanks to Kyousuke's help, she eventually changes her mind and even comes to accept Kirino's hobby. Ayase is a nice person to her classmates and Kirino Kousaka, whom she adores most as her best friend. She is usually soft-spoken and refined, but can also show a more aggressive side, especially when people lie to her, which she hates the most. Her reserved aggressive side often gained her a 'yandere' mark from her peers. Ultimately, however, she is a refined person who retains a sweet and kind personality towards those she cares for. in the Dino subject series she made a dinosaur friend an Male Allosaurus after she gave a bag of prosciutto to him and became a Rider friend.

Kyosuke Kousaka

Kyōsuke Kōsaka is the main male protagonist of the series. He has a distant relationship with his sister Kirino, who always treats him rudely. Feeling that this will never change, he adapts to her attitude by changing how he thinks of his sister, treating her like an acquaintance. in the dino subject series Kyosuke became one of the dino shifters when he transformed into a T-Rex to fight against giant carnivore dinosaurs, to transform he has to harm himself by biting his own hand, but not more than 2 hours or else he will became a corrupted Savage Dino shifter fully control as a real wild dinosaur so he has to be more careful, or his transformation wears off if he gets more injured enough or exhaustion.
