(Dark Souls 2) Mild-mannered Pate is a self-proclaimed treasure hunter who roams Drangleic in search of valuable loot. His motive is unknown, and it is uncertain whether he is a friend or foe. Pate is an eloquent speaker and comes across as mild, friendly, and hum-drum. But in reality, he is cunning, calculating and anything but ordinary. Pate’s armor, shield and spear all strongly indicate that he does not wish to stand out, but why would that be?
