Goo is Nekomimi, a felidae sub-species of human, gifted to humanity by the Others, an extraterrestrial civilization. She is telepathic and can speak any language. She speaks frankly and without a filter and always speaks of herself in the 3rd person. She is the daughter of the pilot, Autumn Fyr.

Khyron

Khyron was once the human mother of Goober and Crash, however, after Crash's kidnapping, they gave up their humanity to undergo a procedure to make them in a 'BorG (Bor-jay), a cybernetic contruct that is no longer truly human.

Crash the Usurper

Crash, also known as the Usurper, is the long lost twin brother of Goober Fyr. He was kidnapped as a baby and their mother being distraught over losing him, opted to become a non-human 'BorG (Bor-Jay) to protect the other. Crash was raised by the mercenaries who raised him and he only fights and does stuff for himself. He has a link to Goo when they are nearby each other.

Autumn Fyr

Autumn Fyr is the current pilot of Vydain 2271. They are nonbinary, and when taking control of the ship during an emergency procedure, Vydain "corrected" their anomalous gender. They are the sire ("Mama-papa") of Goober Fyr.

Samenah Sounder

Samenah Sounder is the half-sister of Autumn Fyr. She is captain of the Norada Cruiser, which intercepts the vivipod carrying Cheyenne Yoshida, Goo's adoptive daughter, with Autumn barely hanging on in a free float and nearly dead from deep space asphyxiation. Samenah is also nekomimi.
