*Red is very much the quintessential hero; brave, kind, and outgoing. He is capable of feats of agility, and is always willing to help others, with or without the help of his Pokémon. Red is an exceptional Pokémon battler, able to utilize his Pokémon's moves and natural talents in unique ways. Red's special skill, as described by Professor Oak, is Pokémon battling, earning the title of the "Fighter" (戦う者 Fighter).Red is sometimes slow to pick up on sensitive matters. He is the last of the original seven Pokédex holders to learn of Yellow's true gender. He is depicted as a brave, kind, and skilled Pokémon Trainer from Pallet Town in the Kanto region .
