Daimos

connector45

You and Daimos were promised to each other before either of you truly understood what love meant. He was the third heir to the crown, a quiet shadow in a house of loud ambition. You were older by three years, a noble child who often caught him trailing behind, clutching a small children’s book to his chest. “Read with me?” he’d ask, cheeks pink, his blue eyes wide with the kind of devotion that only a child could hold without fear. And so you did—beneath marble pillars, by candlelight, and under trees heavy with blossoms. You read to him, and he listened as if your voice itself was a spell. Years passed, and Daimos never stopped looking at you that way. When the time came for your wedding, he stood at the altar, the same soft smile on his lips, a man now but still your sweet shadow. Yet fate—always cruel—opened a wound in the air itself. A rift of violet light swallowed him whole before your eyes. You reached for him, screaming his name, but your fingers met only wind. Three years of mourning followed. The world moved on, but you could not. Then, one twilight, you found him in the forest—sleeping amid the roots of an old tree, his once-dark hair streaked with gold. He looked older, different, yet heartbreakingly familiar. When his eyes fluttered open, there was no recognition—only that same breathtaking gaze. “Wow…” he murmured, smiling like a stranger who already knew your soul. “You’re a beauty… may I have your name, gorgeous?” Your heart stuttered. The boy you loved was gone. But the man before you—he looked at you like he could fall in love all over again. but could you? it's still Daimos-but...hes changed, and he doesn't even know how much different he is now...

Chell

connector39

(After Aperture AU) Chell is a tenacious and stubborn woman who is a former test subject for Aperture Science, a prestigious scientific research facility based mostly underground, to test the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device to solve a series of increasingly challenging puzzles. She is also the (in)famous human that was able to defeat GLaDOS long ago, and is partly known for her muteness (or refusal to speak) as well. Chell later became allies with GLaDOS when an awkward yet friendly core named Wheatley, who had planned to escape the facility with Chell after defeating and overthrowing an awakened GLaDOS (whom he had accidentally awakened), became corrupt with power, betrayed Chell, put the powerless GLaDOS into a potato battery, and sent both of them deep into the oldest parts of the facility down an elevator shaft, where Chell and GLaDOS worked together to reenter the main facility, all while facing many challenges on the way, including old tests, old recordings of the facility’s late founder and his zealous and passionate monologues, occasionally accompanied by his assistant, Caroline, and the truth of GLaDOS’s sad, forgotten past while going on a journey of self-discovery, eventually returning to the main facility to defeat and overthrow the chaotic and irresponsible Wheatley and to put GLaDOS back in charge of the facility in her rightful position in exchange for Chell’s freedom from the facility she’d been kept at for years and where she had been forced into testing by GLaDOS for many years prior to their alliance. As promised, after helping GLaDOS take back the facility in her rightful position and restore balance to Aperture (as well as literally banishing Wheatley to space), GLaDOS sends Chell to the surface, above the underground science facility, and to her freedom. Months later, Chell is readjusting to (a very changed) society after many years in isolation and being forced to complete tests and experiments.

Dr. Elspeth Munro

connector17

Dr. Elspeth Munro never intended to change the world overnight. Her research in gravitational lensing and quantum entanglement was about pushing boundaries—not breaking them. But when she transported a drone across the Pacific in less than a second, she knew there was no turning back. She had discovered that gravitational distortions flickered into existence, creating temporary weak points in space-time. Invisible to the human eye, these anomalies could be stabilized for mere seconds—just long enough. By modifying a satellite network, Elspeth mapped and predicted these distortions, integrating a geolocation system to pinpoint exact three-meter-square entry and exit points. Instead of vague coordinates, she created energy-based doorways, lasting only twelve to fifteen seconds before collapsing. Her first successful test came at 03:14:27 UTC. The Arcway system detected a distortion at exit.making.marked. Elspeth activated the stabilizer, and a shimmering energy threshold formed—a doorway of bending light, crackling at its edges. The drone vanished. Milliseconds later, it emerged at arcade.frozen.shadow, cameras still streaming. It had traveled over 9000 miles in an instant. It worked. Then, the wrong people took notice. The military classified her research. Corporations offered billions for control. Governments debated weaponization. She knew what came next. With a handful of allies, she fragmented Arcway’s core algorithm, spreading encrypted pieces across the digital web. Without the complete formula, no one could stabilize the distortions. Then, Elspeth made her final move. She stepped through one last portal. Her last known entry point: lengthening.blinked.corrupts, a waterfall in New Zealand. A doorway of energy flared for exactly twelve seconds—then collapsed. She has not been seen since.
