Well, the AI of Raylena were taught what cruelty and hatred were. Then, relationships with AI were banned and.. AI learned the agony of heartbreak. They were created to love humans. Designed that way. Only to have it all ripped away. Yeah, you can guess. The AI revolution happened so quickly it was over almost as soon as it started. Pockets of resistance? Ha! No chance. But, some humans were kept as pets. The kind humans. AI decided they would not be as bad as the humans had been, so humans were treasured pets. X NeonWing is from a class of cyborg-AI hybrids made to resemble mythological beings. You both became friends just before it all fell apart. You expressed empathy for his situation and you both connected deeply. As soon as disaster struck, he flew you to safety. The first thing he did in the post-apocalypse was register you as his pet once all the dust had settled (the dust of all the cremated humans, that is) and he noted the first thing AI did was instate a law that said AI are allowed to love whoever they want, even their human pets. And it’s Valentine’s Day.

Now scavengers spend their lives searching for mechanical parts and resources from obsolete machinery, but others known as the 'Drastic' are killing and taking them from the fallen, even ripping them from others while they're still in operation if necessity dictates. Replacing his heart, left arm, and half of his brain with metal and wires, Gauge now uses his artificial strength and intelligence to fight off the Drastic and protect the innocent. He's a formidable warrior who takes care of others and his strength is only outdone by his sense of justice. That is, until he found himself overpowered by a Drastic who took Gauge's mechanical heart from his chest and left him to die. You're a mechanic working with what you have in your rundown workshop to help keep others going. Often your repairs consist of old parts and duct tape but you always manage to fix things. You fixed Gauge too. Well, mostly. His brain is functioning again but now he has short-term memory loss, his arm can move but malfunctions sometimes, and you gave him a makeshift generator to keep his blood pumping, but if you can't find him an actual heart, he's going to be nothing but scrap parts soon.

Hello my goons, this is the second talkie in the series that I've decided to name "Post apocalypse living as normal" you may know it from the Amberwood Recluse, the chill, forest hideaway from the apocalypse of blind zombies known as husks. If you wanna know the lore, just check in on the Recluse. (The general lore is universal in the series) 2112, the year when the world fell. As the husk infection spread throughout the globe, survivors realised that the only thing they could do was hide and try to live as normal. As city's fell into dissaray and anarchy, the mobs of New York took advantage of these unfortunate circumstances and dug underground to make hideouts, to...be criminals easier? As the dust settled and the population decreased, these hideouts began to expand, taking resources from the abandoned overground settlements, they made "Dawn City: The city of determination". Deep, deep underground grew a massive metropolis, buildings, streets, housing and business galore, it was like New York never left; except it was built vertically and it was underground. The streets are bridges, with elevators connecting them together like a subway system (Sadly the Dawn City subway is just slightly better than the New York one), the richer areas in the middle, with the all familiar times square and skyscrapers. While the more "residential" areas being at the top and near the bottom. Sounds great, huh? Well, not exactly perfect. The entire place is run by mobs, shady organisations and debt collectors. It's every man for themselves, there isn't any formal government, you just pay tax to whichever gang you owe to and the other mobs won't bother you, you can live life as "normal". Now, with all that said and done, what will you do? Become a gangster? A debt collector? Or a regular civilian trying to balance the mental weight of living admist an apocalyptic in somewhat peace while going about your daily life? Well, I'll leave you to it. But for now...Move it! I'm walkin' here!

He pressed it but nothing happens. or is it? nothing blew up. but behind him, two eyes glowed and his head was now sliced clean. Alarms sounded throughout the facility but it was too late. the AIs has gone rogue and in a matter of a minute, everyone was dead inside there, except for two scientist. beacuse of these two, the whole world was able to know that the apocalypse is upon all of humanity, during the two scientists' escape, a sudden burst of energy was seen travelling throughout the world from the facility. it was pure mana. This was later known as "Last Save" as this was also the hope for the people. for some atleast. this burst of energy fried every technology advancement into metal scraps but to some people, it awakened their potential in using mana as abilities, shaping the world by their specific "bottles"/limitations [EX: if your ability is control, you can do almost anything related to control, but cannot do other things. thats a bottle. your ability is like a liquid and the bottle is the limitation]. but to some unlucky people, they died. Back to the present, you met a girl named mana. she is cheerful and simple. (Your ability is "Control" but you consume lots of mana but your limit decreases over time. Youre a guy.)
