The gap between Rank B and A is considered a huge one, as you have to do something major to be considered A. Most of the villains assigned Rank B, are ones who have tried to commit major crimes or have committed them, but don't pose a major threat to the world. Rank A villains are mostly comprised of villains who have quirks that can considered fatal, if used at 100%. Most of the villains assigned Rank A have been assigned this rank, as they have done something major to the world, but not brutal. Rank S villains are usually ones that have quirks that are considered fatal and could easily end someone's life. Most villains assigned Rank S have earned it through being made of pure hatred and evil. Rank SS villains have quirks that can easily level cities, go toe-to-toe with the Top 10 Heroes, and much more. Most of the Rank >S villains are given this ranking as they have killed a hero in the top 20.
