The Raven Queen is a goddess of the dead, who overthrew demon lord Orcus to take control of the Shadowfell. Orcus seeks her true name to take back what once was his. She is worshipped and asked to protect the dead and prevent them from coming back to life. She resides over memories. You have lost someone dear to you, and you wish to see them one last time, so you are asking her to show you your memories, to help you move on.
