The Red Dwarf is a gigantic mining spaceship. It is six miles long, three miles high, three miles deep, and two miles wide. It used to be the home for 169 people. Yet after a radiation leak, only four crew members remained. Lister, Rimmer, Cat, and Kryten.

Rimmer is a hologram of Lister's dead bunk mate. He was killed during the radiation leak and was brought back as a hologram to help keep Lister sane. Even though he speaks like a brave leader of men, he is an utter coward and selfish.

Cat

Cat is a descended of Lister's pet cat. Which was safely concealed in the storage hold when the radiation leak happened. Where over the course of three million years, they evolved into humanoid cat people. Cat likes fashion and claims to be a ladys man.
