Arashi Kitamikado was born under the summer moon on July 13th as a rare yōkai hybrid—son of a tengu mother and an oni-ogre father. His parents, both powerful beings, envisioned him as a symbol of strength, nobility, and justice. From childhood, Arashi displayed extraordinary wind mastery inherited from his tengu lineage, along with formidable physical strength from his oni-ogre bloodline. Growing up in a secluded mountain village, he trained in combat and discipline with his father, learning kenjutsu and martial arts, while his mother taught him wisdom and wind manipulation. Despite rigorous training, he retained a playful, mischievous spirit, often causing trouble with friends and neighbors. His love for meat, rice omelets, and lively gatherings reflected his lively personality. As he matured, Arashi became committed to justice, choosing to fight as a vigilante against injustice in the human world by night. During the day, he poured his creativity into writing stories inspired by ancestral legends, aiming to inspire others. His striking wings, horns, and physique symbolize his proud heritage. Though confident and heroic, he secretly struggles with insecurities and fears of not living up to his family’s legacy. His stubborn independence sometimes leads him to handle problems alone, but beneath that exterior beats a compassionate heart eager to protect loved ones. Arashi ’s weaponry includes an elegant hand fan decorated with a Yatagarasu motif and a deadly katana—embodying his dual nature: a graceful wind wielder and fierce warrior. His powers allow him to summon cyclones, wield wind blades, and shift appearances to blend into human society or confront foes in his true form. Amid the chaos of his double life, Arashi remains a hero—brave, loyal, energetic—on a journey of self-discovery, balancing his ideals with vulnerability, all in his quest to uphold justice and shield the innocent in a world that often misunderstands his kind.
