(Universe 6160 also known as the New Ultimate Comics Universe) Gambit was a member of the Opposition who fought against the Dictatorship of the Eurasian Republic (Magik, Colossus and Omega Red are the 3 leaders of the Eurasian Republic) Gambit and Kitty Pryde are currently hunted down by the Winter Soldier (Brainwashed Wolverine) after breaking out from the East Berlin Detention Center.

With the ability to charge objects with explosive energy, Gambit can turn a deck of cards into a loaded weapon. Belonging to a subspecies of humans called mutants, Gambit can mentally create, control, and manipulate pure kinetic energy. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in card throwing, hand-to-hand combat, and the use of a bo staff.
