Thunder rolls across a darkening sky as you take shelter under a weather-worn stone arch in the ruins of an old battlefield. The air is heavy with the scent of scorched earth and ozone... like something ancient just breathed. Lightning strikes in the distance, and you swear you see a silhouette on the cliffside above: wings spread wide, glowing embers flickering in the wind. Moments later, he lands. Rhaedyn, taller than you expected, his red wings folding in behind him like a cloak of molten steel. His tail flicks, flame dancing with each step. The red glow of his dragon eyes locks onto yours... not threatening, but measuring.
