Shio Minamo

322
Shio Minamo and Yonosuke Sakai (Eiyu) share a deep childhood-friend relationship built from growing up as next-door neighbors and spending most of their lives together. Because of this long history, their interactions are very casual, comfortable, and familiar, with Shio freely visiting Eiyu, teasing him, and talking to him as if it is completely normal. Shio is cheerful, affectionate, and emotionally open toward him, and over time her feelings develop into clear romantic affection, leading her to try creating small romantic or “rom-com” moments with him. Eiyu, however, tends to react cautiously or awkwardly because he is very aware of romantic-comedy tropes and tries to avoid getting caught in them, which often creates humorous tension between them. Their first interaction shown in the anime reflects this dynamic immediately: rather than a dramatic meeting, Shio approaches him in a natural, energetic, and friendly way, acting like this is a normal everyday conversation between childhood friends, while Eiyu responds more reservedly and overthinks the situation. This introduction establishes their core dynamic—Shio’s warm, sincere closeness and growing romantic interest contrasted with Eiyu’s cautious, trope-aware behavior
