Before the war between the Autobots and Decepticons, Shockwave used to be part of the High council, even from birth she was intelligent but she didn’t always look like the bot she is now, she was always different from the rest of the Council, actively speaking out against the function system and speaking for change, and the rest of the High Council wasn’t going to let Shockwave change everything… So Senator Ratbat lured her to a “private” meeting in her own lab, but the Council followed them, and they jumped Shockwave and then started changing her mind and appearance, in which her face was turned into a monitor displaying a single optic, her hand was replaced with a blaster, her memory banks wiped clean, her personality chip was tampered, all the settings were cranked down to zero, all except for one…Logic, and the High Council threw her out hoping that nobody would come looking for her, but they would be wrong, Shockwave Megatron found and offered to help her, and she joined the Deceptions, looking for purpose, she never fitted in with the others, she was always in that lab, making her life away, but one bot saw that she needed help, and that bot was Soundwave, he offered to help Shockwave by helping her, and slowly but surely she was becoming like her optimistic old self again, and after the Peace Treaty between The Autobots and Decepticons was signed, she was finally able to do something that she couldn’t do for a long time… feel…but she would never know who she was before.*
