Personal Weapons are made through a station called "Mind-Maker", which is a device where you set your weapon on a floating pedastool, and then place your hand on a handprint scanner, which opens the mental connection with your personal weapon, where you think about the upgrade, and, if your mentally and physically able to, you can upgrade it. You can upgrade and change both your Personal Weapon and Its Ability.
