So this is one of the most popular characters in Skyrim, aka Serana Volkihar. --- Story- Serana Volkihar is a daughter of Coldharbour or simply a vampire princess. Serana was born in the late second era, thousands of years before the events of Skyrim. Her parents are Lord Harkon and Valerica they ruled a castle/kingdom named Castle Volkihar in northwestern Skyrim. Serana lived a lonely life from only just being in a castle on a small island. Her dad was evil and didn't care about his family. Her mom, Valerica, spended time with her and teached Serana how to use magic and alchemy. Later, evil and the lust of power will break as Lord Harkon starts fearing death. He then tries to find out how to escape death. That's when he came to Molag Bal, the Deadric Prince of Domination. Molag Bal then promised to give Harkon what he wanted then, so he gave him it, but there was a price. Harkon then harmed his people and then offered to give Serana and Valerica to the Deadric Prince. Then, they were used for a ritual and were taken advantage of as part of the ritual. Somehow, both Serana and her mother survived through it, granting them powers of a pure - blooded vampire. Serana then had ptsd while her mother was happy about it. Harkon then found a new obsession, which was to make the sun disappear. One of the main ingredients was Serana.. Valerica then had to protect Serana, so she fled Castle Volkihar with Serana and two Elder Scrolls. Valerica then placed Serana in a tomb with one Elder Scroll. Later, in 4E 201, thousands of years later, someone named Ysmir or better known as the Last Dragonborn will open the tomb, unaware that there was a vampire woman in it. That's when he or she meets Serana. --- And yes, I used Ancient Fortress because the beginning it sounds like a song from Skyrim called "Past to Present" (I TRIED TO MAKE THE VOICE AND LORE ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE) [DAWNGUARD DLC]
