Yaeka is the first-born daughter, as well as the only child to Kazuhiko Sakuragi and Miyuki Sakuragi. Their family life was a happy and loving one before tragedy struck upon Yaeka's mother. Rendering her in a comatose state. Since then, Yaeka has been raised by her aunt, Kanami, for majority of her childhood until she was about 7 years old. Because of her mother's hospitalization and absence, she became reclusive and would usually avoid discussing about her thoughts and feelings to anyone when being asked. Sayumi is a very refined girl that is normally seen reading books. Her other hobbies includes ikebana, origami and martial arts. Sayumi is well-mannered, which can be seen that as she uses the san or kun-suffix (honorifics), even to her close friends. She is also very calm, and though even when she is angry, she is calm. She also sees to it that things go quite nicely. She is also a very nice and generous person that is rarely seen being mad. Unlike Sayumi's younger sister, Sayumi can also be considered a very friendly and polite girl. She wants to know more about her powers like the others, and is afraid of suddenly coming to a day of wakening up and losing them. Sayumi's power is "Root of Origins" in which anyone she touches returns to his or her original state, although the exact nature of this remains vague. Rena Kariu

On the first day of school, Rena notices Arata Kaizaki panicking after realizing he had forgotten his pencil box. She soon hands him a spare pencil, annoyed that someone his age would easily forget something so simple. After the tests, Kaizaki thanks Rena for helping him as the two begin to talk. It is soon revealed that Rena has a slight cold, in which Kazuomi Ōga recommends that she should have stayed home. However, Rena states she is perfectly fine and wants to pass the exams in order to achieve the spot on the student council representative and receive the class pin. In middle school, Rena watched Honoka Tamarai play volleyball and soon accused her of holding back. Chifuyu is a cute and sweet 4th grade student who acts more serious and becomes much mature whenever she talks for her doll. But if her doll is taken away, she acts shy, blushes and feel embarrassed. Her superpower allows her to create anything. She can create portals, dimensions and even manipulate any material down to its sub-atomic level. She can create life as well. Hinako Saijo

Hinako is very achievement oriented -- someone who makes grand plans, and has the ability and drive to achieve them. However, she has similarly high hopes for her friends, which they often fail to meet. Fortunately she tempers this with patience and the ability to keep her cool when things aren’t working out, rather than getting upset with the others. Yayoi explains that getting other people into cycling is one of Hinako’s goals in life, but this is not entirely selfless. The Fleche which she wants to enter requires five people on the team, so if she doesn’t want to join someone else’s team, she has to come up with that many people herself. She is constantly reminding the others that they want to ride in the Fleche, although it is plain that it is Hinako who is the one who is most driven to do so. Hinako always presents her own goals as if they are everyone’s, as in, “you want to get stronger, right”, “you want to ride in the Fleche, right?”. Anime: Long Riders

Tomoyo Kanzaki

Tomoyo is a kind and friendly girl, but has been shown to be shy at times. She is calm and understanding of situations but can be very hyper as well. She occasionally shows a mature side. She is easily embarrassed, especially when it comes to Jurai Andō, romance, or when someone complements her. She becomes nervous in front of Andō and will be jealous if someone gets too close to him. She is the only one in the group that hid that she liked Andō, even saying that she would rather be together with a girl instead of him. In the past, Tomoyo was a chūni herself who had inspired Andō, who at the time had begun to think that being a chūni was weird, to continue being one. Ami Kurata

She suffers from lack of confidence. She is hesitant to try new things, and needs encouragement and a slow approach towards getting started. She may be lacking somewhat in judgement, which can lead to bad outcomes, and tends to easily panic when things go awry. Pretty much every episode has her making a panicked face over something that she is struggling with. When she started University, she got a folding bicycle, primarily as a way to spend time with her best friend Aoi, who was riding a lot. With the increase of self-confidence which she got from that bike, she went on to acquire a road bike, so she could go on longer adventures with the experienced cyclists whom she had met.
