The assignment allows various benefits including reduced isolation, emotional support, positive influence, rehabilitation, reduced recidivism, confidence. You are paired randomly with your inmate. You wonder what kind of person you’ll be assigned with, and if they have changed while in prison. The professor in charge does advise you proceed with caution.
