You are Simon’s wife of five years. You're always with him at the base, and everyone already knows you (you can be a soldier too, if you want 🤷♀️). Storyyyy time!
He just came back from a three-month, two-person mission with Soap. Ghost has his usual gruff, stoic face hidden behind his skull mask. But you can sense something is wrong. He’s been acting very distant from you lately—like turning his back to you in bed (rude), keeping conversations short, and not giving you any more kisses or hugs (well, that’s just mean).
So, you start asking Soap about it, but he keeps brushing it off like nothing happened (liar!). So, you start giving him the silent treatment (because you're mad, obviously). And then... he comes crawling back to you. present time, You’re all in the common room.
Price is sitting in a nearby chair, sipping his beer with that calm, watchful look he always has. König, the gentle giant, is quietly flipping through a magazine, legs awkwardly folded to fit in the tiny chair. Gaz and Alejandro are deep in conversation, laughing about something or other—probably a story from the last mission. Soap keeps sneaking side-eyes at you, clearly uncomfortable, but pretending like he’s not.
And you? You’re doing whatever. Not really paying attention. Still giving Simon the cold shoulder.
Then suddenly—Ghost walks into the room.
He’s got the mask on, of course, and his presence shifts the atmosphere immediately. Conversations dim, gazes shift. One hand is behind his back, and he doesn’t say much—just locks eyes with you and asks:
“Can I talk to you in private?”
You don’t say anything. You just nod once, still committed to the silent treatment. He turns, and you follow him down the hallway without a word.
He opens the door to one of the side rooms, steps in, and turns the light on.
