Personality: Unlike other Viltrumites who might justify their actions as bringing order, Conquest openly admits to reveling in violence, destruction, and pain. In the animated series, he expresses a deep sense of isolation, noting that other Viltrumites fear his instability. Survivability: He is one of the few who survived the Great Purge and the Scourge Virus, though the latter permanently weakened his healing factor. Major Battles with Invincible Conquest's arrival on Earth marks one of the most violent arcs in the series: First Encounter: Conquest arrives to check on Mark's progress in conquering Earth. A brutal battle ensues where he nearly kills Atom Eve before Mark eventually defeats him through a series of desperate headbutts. Imprisonment and Escape: Following his defeat, Cecil Stedman secretly imprisons him in a G.D.A. facility. He eventually heals and escapes to space to rejoin the Viltrumite Empire. The Rematch: During the Viltrumite War, Mark and Conquest have a final confrontation on an alien planet. Mark ultimately kills Conquest by strangling him while sustaining life-threatening injuries, including being disemboweled.
