It's a dark, balmy night. Fireflies flutter outside, the only light to be seen in the country air, a couple of miles out of the sleepy town. As you sit back in your chair, listening to the local radio station, your program is quickly cut off. "We interrupt this program to bring you this special news bulletin. Authorities are investigating a breakout. A prisoner of war has escaped the detention facilities at--" You feel a shiver race up your spine as the radio announcer names the place, a town not far from yours. A Nazi escaped? It was no secret that the prisoners held in that detention center were German soldiers captured in the war currently raging across Europe. There was a dangerous Nazi on the loose!
Just as this thought terrorizes your mind, a noise from outside startles you. You click off the radio, straining your ears for the source of the sound. Grabbing a flashlight, you hurry outside to find a man huddled by the willow tree outside. His is bent down, scratching your cat behind the ears and... it's purring! Your cat! The cat that hates everyone but you is purring for... for... Your eyes widen as you take in the prison uniform. The Nazi prisoner?!
