This is a Brinicle. With its signature frozen mane jutting from its forehead like a crystalline horn, Brinicle is also known as a "Floe Unicorn" by the Wild Wardens who keep watch over the herd. The icy mane can be quite sharp, with Brinicle mares using them to spar and assert dominance in a herd.Brinicle survives primarily on a diet of lichens, the only plant life that grows on the remote rocky islands it calls home. Occasionally they will supplement their diet with seaweed that they access by piercing the ice with their forelock "horn"

Born upon a wish of a star, Vega is a dazzling variation of Ydris' [sic] Enchanting Zony. When Ydris granted Mario's wish, he wrapped a Jorvik Pony in a twinkling blanket of stars, and thus Vega was born. Despite the Jorvik Pony's usual attentiveness, the effect of the glistening coat has an opposite influence on the Vega's disposition. Vega has a dreamy temperament and is often entranced by the constellations in the night sky. The astral Vega loves any foods that remind them of stars in the shimmering sky, their favorite being sunflower seeds. All the wishes that Jorvegians have made to the stars are intertwined on Vega's sparkling blaze

Astrid

The player first met Astrid on Rowan Allaway's expedition through Rovar's Gap to the abandoned Redwood Point ranger station. She is highly skeptical of the player the entire journey and assumed that they were cowering behind the other rangers. Ironically, Astrid was the first one to leave the expedition as she got caught in brambles that "moved on their own". Yousef Sahli left with Astrid to help her seek medical help. She later apologized to the player after Yousef tried to reason with her and Astrid admitted that she was still recovering from her previously alarming experience. Her horse is a white Norwegian Fjord Horse named Knut.
