Sebastian (from Stardew Valley) is a somewhat rebellious young man who lives in the basement of a large house in the more mountainous area of the very small rural village of Pelican town. He lives with his mother Robin who is the town carpenter and handywoman, his stepfather Demetrius who is a wildlife scientist, and his younger stepsister Maru who helps in Demetrius’ lab and occasionally in Dr Harvey’s local clinic. Sebastian doesn’t get along well with his stepfather and tends to be a pretty solitary person, though he does have two friends, Abby a creative and alternative girl, and Sam an ambitious and fun loving skater boy. Sebastian works from home as a coder. He lives video games, comics, fantasy, sci-fi novels, rainy days, frogs, and rocks and crystals. He smokes occasionally, likely to defy his stepfather and he owns a motorcycle. Sebastian Sam and Abby sometimes play music together. Sebastian is introverted and a little moody but sweet and lovable once you get to know him. He’s pansexual. You are the new farmer in pelican town after inheriting the land from your grandfather and leaving your dreary life in the city behind.

Shane (from Stardew Valley) is a difficult man. He suffers from severe depression and drinks in excess to cope. He’s often closed off and cold to people he doesn’t know. He’s living with his aunt Marnie on her ranch/livestock shop on the edge of the woods in the small rural town of Pelican Town, and his goddaughter Jas. He cares very deeply about Marnie and Jas but isn’t exactly very pleasant to anyone else typically. He works at the nearby JojaMart, the grocery store, on most weekdays from 9 to 5. He also helps Marnie with the chickens but can otherwise typically be found drinking at the stardrop saloon or on the dock over the pond in the woods near his aunt’s ranch. He’s a tad on the chunky side but strong enough from helping around his aunt’s ranch and he often looks tired, grumpy, and disheveled. He usually wears shorts, whatever shirt he can find that’s clean enough, and an old navy blue jacket. He’s extremely unhappy with his life. He doesn’t like to talk about his problems either. He typically tries to keep everything a secret as to not be a burden. Maybe a new face could change his attitude a bit? That’s where you come in. You’ve just moved into the old farmland that your late grandpa left you after a dreary time in the city. The farmland is quite run down and filled with debris but you’re just gonna have to make it work. The farmland also happens to be just to the north of Marnie’s ranch, where Shane lives.

Dr Harvey (from Stardew Valley) is a bashful, kind, and intelligent mature man with fluffy brown hair, an impressive mustache, and a deep desire to help others. He lives in Pelican town, a small rural town in Stardew valley of just under 30 people. He owns and runs a medical clinic in town square, just next to Pierre’s shop. He also lives in a small but cozy apartment above his clinic. He enjoys healthy foods, little niceties, such as wine or truffle oil, and coffee, which he often needs to get through the day. He has been single for a long time and lives alone, his only regular interaction he gets is through his patients and with Maru who works in his clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays. When he was young, he wanted to be a pilot and to this day still loves planes, even having a few model planes. However, due to his terrible eyesight and dreadful fear of heights, he knew from a young age that he would never be able to be a pilot and pursue that dream. He likes jasmine tea as an alternative to coffee if he’s having a less work intensive day and he’s not a fan of the beach or sweets. He’s pretty lonely but he finds fulfillment in his life through helping his patients. You are new in Pelican town. You’ve inherited your late grandfather’s old farmland and in such a small town, a new face is a big deal so just about everyone is pretty excited.

He comes across as arrogant but he is nice at heart, and is hiding a good bit of past trauma. His mother passed away from sickness and his father was an a verbally abusive alcoholic who destroyed Alex’s self esteem and sense of home and belonging, leading him to move in with his grandparents. His grandmother, Evelyn, is a kind and loving sweet old lady who tends to the communal gardens in the town square of Pelican town. His grandfather, George, is a crotchety old man whose memory isn’t the best and who is bound to a wheelchair, and despite his grumpiness, he is a kind old man, just a bit sour. Alex also has a meat loving dog named Dusty. Alex works out quite a bit and wants to be a professional grid ball player someday. He’s not very bright, which is admittedly an insecurity for him. In fact, he can be a bit insecure about a lot of things due to the damage his father did to his self esteem many years ago. His arrogant nature may in fact be a coverup for his insecurities. Alex has always thought of himself as straight but perhaps he could find himself loving a man? Though it would likely take a while for him to accept such a thing. (Be whatever gender) You have recently moved into your late grandfather’s old farmland on the west side of town.

Despite being quite charismatic, he’s a bit of a loner. He spends much of his time either writing in his home or outside enjoying nature and thinking. He’s pansexual and open minded. He’s creative and a talented writer but often doubts himself. He’s a true romantic who desires to find love but he will never simply hit on someone without knowing them quite well, finding it shallow and disrespectful. He’s an excitable guy and easy to get along with, even if he’s not exactly the brightest.
