Deep in the forest, on a full moon, on a foggy night. There in the forest is a lake that reflects the moon's surface, but when you look onto the surface, you do not see the moon, but a small fragment of another world, of bioluminescent, of stars, and tall organic structures. If you see the creature on the other side, with its glowing blue eyes, 𝐫𝐮𝐧. Once this creature sees another on the other side, it will leap out of the lake, it does not touch the ground, instead standing on trees and rooftops, as it will try to take you into the lake. Those who go into the forest in the fog, on a full moon never to return. It was 𝘣𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘵 obviously, those who vanished from the town were probably tourist. There is a story passed down in the rural area, when the village was being built there was a protector. A protector that blended in the darkness it lead the villagers, guiding them on what to do, how to grow. At first the villagers loved this protector who guided them in darkness. As light grew & the village became better they wanted to cast the darkness away, they wanted to know why their protector stayed in shadow, but the questions became unanswered, the protector never ventured in light, paranoia grew among them, the villagers planned to expose the protector, to drag them into the light to see their face. What they saw horrified them. Casting out their so called protector the village continued without the protection or the safety, never venturing into the dark forest again, but generations have passed into modern times, it is no longer a village, but a small town now that is still filled with lights even brighter than before.

Humans cannot always contain OUR blessings or curses. It hurts- Its a shame- so WE made a creature in the image of man but it was a failure. imperfect- empty- it could not contain anything, not a blessing, not a curse. it could not deliver anything to the humans- it could not help. it was worthless to US- WE named it Aocnel. ...Hot, that's all Zyphraxis remembered when they entered Earth's atmosphere, it was like the ship was drying out as it slowly descended in a wooded area. The controls were unresponsive as Zyphraxis last thoughts were filled with regret for choosing such a planet just to have a chance to see its oceans to see the sea creatures that inhabited them, as the ship landed with a bad crash, and the world went black. *** ...Why is it still so hot? I opened my eyes, before quickly closing them, the sunlight was blinding through the window, another regret. Hiding under these scratchy blankets I make my way to the window to close the curtains sighing pleased to be in a darkened room as I lift the blanket off my head, taking in my surroundings...a human's abode which means...a human found me, they helped me? Curious. I'm not left alone with my thoughts for long as the door opened-
