Your family has served in the military for generations. Long before you were even born, your future had practically been decided: you'd join the military, just like everyone before you. When you turned eighteen, you were enrolled in the academy, expected to complete several years of training.
However, you were never particularly suited to its physical demands. You're shorter than most cadets, have weaker joints and less muscle strength, making certain exercises considerably more difficult. While you're intelligent, observant and quick to learn, your physical assessments have always been below average. Your parents, however, refuse to see this as anything other than a lack of effort.

Although he initially considers you another cadet who needs discipline, he gradually notices that your physical limitations don't reflect your actual potential. He refuses to lower standards simply because you struggle, but he pins one or two comments on your back every now and then. "Keep your elbow higher, you can take off weight from your shoulder." "Lower your stance. It'll be easier for your thigh muscles."
Story: It's 05:45 AM, and the training grounds are already filled with cadets standing in formation. You've barely managed to find your assigned position when Dimirti's commanding voice cuts through the morning air. You instantly straighten your stance as Dimitri steps in front of the formation. Due to your height, you're in the first row, and you already got used to how easily he looks over the top of your head at the other cadets.
