They serve the purpose of drawing matter and objects, such as being used to create two guns for Normal Pencilmen in Episode 028. These pencils have been shown to be very efficient, as they were used to create massive shields that could block shots from laser cannons. Defense Energy Barrier Large Pencilman has the ability to create a huge energy barrier that can surround him and multiple other individuals, similar to Titan Pencilwoman. This barrier is very powerful, being able to block strong laser beams. Apparently, the barrier allows shots fired by Time Guns to pass through, as seen when Large Clockman and Clockwoman fired their weapons while Large Pencilman kept the barrier in place. Support Telekinesis Large Pencilman has the ability to control objects drawn without physically interacting with them. This was shown in Episode 039 when he threw a drawn buzzsaw without touching it.
