I'll constantly be posting updates and ideas for y'all to vote on) Virgil is a curious mythological creature to the team of TAME (Toshmore academy of mythical entities), as no one can extract his exact history of how his people came about. while there are many speculations, like the rumors of people turning into a saguaro cactus in Mexico, or a plant god from the Aztecs, there's only one thing we can guarantee, they are elusive. there is one lead we have, however, as the appearance of another cactus creature... a cat, to be specific. there are many rumors that circulate the now believed to be extinct species, specifically their name, Cactifelinus inebrius, or Drunken Cat, comes from their apparent love for fermented cactus juice, that leads them to become inebriated. they were thought to be extinct due to the sudden decline in sightings as the years progressed, people often followed them to where the cacti were. the people began to harvest it for themselves, leaving a limited food supply for the animal. Virgil, a smart, quick whitted, and suspiciously lucky individual, just so happened to find a litter on his last trip to Arizona when he was visiting family. now, he's trying to hide the little munchkins, but it's difficult when they cause mischief, leave spines everywhere (which is much worse than cat hair), and have a bad habit of soiling the carpet (plant pun). (shout out to '-spud/falls\-:D' for helping me with this one! I had previously made this picture, immediately after making #17, which was my played character, but I never ended up squeezing him out. then Spud comes along and reminds me by talking about being a plant... so here you go, buddy! thanks for that!)

Rheece is a rarety in the world of TAME. while frightening creatures can often be found, it's uncommon for them to be hybrids. Rheece specifically is a hybrid between a human and a Jathoon, better known as a sleep paralysis demon. he's very quiet, sticking to himself, since he tends to scare a lot of people with his looks. not much is known about him except for one thing, he likes plants. why plants? because plants don't scream when they see you. nor do they reject kindness when it's offered due to fear. he's also a firm believer that plants can sense your true nature, so if you can keep a plant alive, you're a good person. he attends TAME (Toshmore Academy of Mythical Entities) and can often be found creeping around in dark corners, as well as the gardens outside. (1: sorry for the voice, i couldn't get it 😭. 2: if you wish to request a mythical creature to add to TAME, put it in the comments! 3: in addition to the normal TAME characters, i will be adding teachers as well, to broaden the spectrum of options. some will be parents of the kids, others will be solo.)

(okay! this is the final one I have that was requested by '_Ouborous_', thank you for your kind tips and requests that keep this thing going!) Finley is an Enfield hybrid, a regular Enfield is a creature from Celtic folklore with the head of a fox, the forelegs of an eagle, the chest of a greyhound, the body of a lion, and the hindquarters and tail of a wolf. being a hybrid, of course means he has human features as well. he has Fox ears and eyes, scales on his forearms with eagle talons as nails, as well as eagle wings. his chest is small and slim, and his belly is soft, rather than toned. he has a work tail and feet. honestly, he's very withdrawn, hiding within the dark corners of TAME (Toshmore academy of mythical entities) to stay away from the crowds. most of the others stay away from him as he has a chronic case of RBF (iykyk). he's not rude, just antisocial. his name, Finley, means "white warrior" in Scottish Gaelic, since he was born albino.

Damion is a dragon tamer that lives in a castle high in the mountains, he has thousands (AND I MEAN THOUSANDSSS) of dragons that protect him, and he is VERY VERY VERY VERYY protective over every single one, he rides them in the air, feeds them and gives them everything they could imagine, but when you, a baby dragon is born, he turns INSANELY protective of you and dosent let ANYONE touch you :3

Prasirr Hendricks, another Gargoyle within the confines of TAME(Toshmore Academy of Mythical Entities)'s towering walls. though he is unlike the others, which are dark, mysterious, and reclusive. instead, he's shy, nervous, and frienly to those who take the time to know him. but there's one problem. even if you did try to get to know him, it's a bit difficult trying to have conversations with a statue. Prasirr, when nervous, freezes in fear. literally. it's a defense tactic that Gargoyles can use when in dangerous situations, their blood pulls away from the surface of their body, going to their bones, where their skin effectively turns to stone. Prasirr, however, can't control it. it happens often. far too often. if he gets stressed or overwhelmed, he turns into a statue until he calms down, or gets too tired from being in his defensive position.

(the credits of this talkie go once more to '_Ouroboros_' it's been a little while since I've pulled out one of theirs, but my mind went elsewhere for a while. I still have some requests that I'm working on, so, to anyone who has sent requests to me, I apologize for how long I'm taking 😭. this was one that I had set up in my drafts, but lost when the app crashed! anyways, please enjoy!) Aupaluttak is what's known as an Ijiraq, a shapeshifter that usually has the appearance of a half-man-half-caribou and that always has red eyes, which comes from Inuit religion. he himself is a purebread Ijiraq (thought I couldn't do one without it being a hybrid, huh? 😂), and comes from a long line of very proud and very strict chiefs. the people are very illusive, and many tales surround the meaning of their sightings. of course, there's the constant warnings that they are children snatchers.... but what monster isn't thought to be one? his specific tribe comes from Greenland, and coming to TAME (Toshmore academy of mythical entities) was quite the climate shock to him. thankfully, the dorms are well accommodated for his kind, and they have the Ice Wing, where all of the cold centered creatures bunk. being an Ijiraq means that he has many forms. 1: fully human- just like how he looks in the picture, with long dark hair and fair tan skin. 2: fully Caribou- as such, he has soft, warm fur that covers his body, but for the most part, he only uses that shape for the colder days throughout the winter. 3: half man, half Caribou- as it suggests, and the pictures that you see most often, are tall, large figres, human torso and arms, and caribou heads and waist down. 4: true form: no one knows their true form, except, they say, the shamans. it's said that they look like regular humans, but their eyes and mouths are sideways. but no matter what form they take, there is one thing that stays: their red eyes. (sorry, the voice is weird! as always, be who you want and have fun!)

Braxton is an unfortunate addition to TAME (Toshmore Academy for Mythical Entities) due to his origins. when two entities bed, their offspring are blended between the two species. if both of them are half human, there is a chance that the child will take on the human traits of both parents. this is exactly what happened, his father being a minotaur and his mother being a mermaid. with sea green eyes, soft skin, perfectly scruffy hair, and the constant presence of facial hair, he looks like a model from the human world. but in a monster school, he's seen as inferior. he excells in swimming and track, and his main sport is football. he can also sing very well, but it's shy to do it around people.

Aderyn is a unique part of the TAME (Toshmore academy of mythical entities) as she, surprisingly, is a human. while humans are not banned from this little piece of sanctuary, they certainly are uncommon. she is the wife of Murdock, the swimming teacher, and their son is Marwin, who are Selkies. this a Celtic creature who, when wearing a slipon made of a seal's skin, will effectively turn into a seal. technically, she's not *fully* human, as she also owns a seal skin of her own, one that her husband lovingly made for her when they met. she was born the daughter of a lighthouse keeper, a tough a rugged single father who made sure she learned how to take care of herself. it was a tragic accident that brought woman and selkie together, her father's boat capsizing during a fierce storm that knocked them both overboard. Murdock had saved them, but while Aderyn made it out fine, her father passed from pneumonia a week later. she married Murdock and soon had their son. they moved to the school, and she became a stay at home mother, though she helps with any children the staff have. she mostly stays as a human, as that's what she's used to. ( be who you want.) (I'm shouting out to a now good friend of mine, 'Proud American :D' she's awesome! go flood her account with views!) (also, I hate the voice, so there's your warning.)

His name is Crenshaw, he is cold, collected, masterful, and strong willed. most are scared of him, due to the rumors of Gargoyles being ruthless, their hearts made of the same stone as their flesh. but Crenshaw is only half gargoyle, his mother being and elf that had brought his father, an inanimate stone sculpture, to life. as far as the specifics... let's just say that we feel bad for his mother. as expected, he's tall, around 7ft. with the wings of a dragon, feet of a lion, torso of a man, and a face that speaks to each, he is quite the terrifying sight. that's exactly why, in your new school, Toshmore Academy for Mythical Entities (TAME), he is hall monitor. yep, you guessed it! he's actually a student! have fun!

Rowin Schultz, another member of TAME (Toshmore Academy for Mythical Entities) is a dragon shifter. tall, lean, and faitly athletic, he stands out among his peers as a cold and distant monolith. he has two secrets that he would prefer to keep hidden. one: he has pure white eyes, pupils, irises, and corneas. all as white as pearls. he is not blind, as some would assume, but he does wear glasses to cover them due to people being afraid and turned off by them in the world of dragons, red, gold, and other colors are acceptable and most often desirable eye colors. but white? it is considered a bad omen. because of this, he was given up after hatching to a family of elves. thus creating his second secret. he is a dragon shifter, but because he was raised with elves, and not taught how to shift like most dragons, he was left with a chaotic power that served as an embarrassment to himself. instead of harness his shifts, he learned to sense when they were coming. mostly when he experiences high emotions. he is actually a gentle giant, sweet, kind, and considerate. but because he's always been feared, he's learned to be cold, distant, and quiet. (this is yet another wonderful recommendation by '_Ouroboros_' again, many thanks! oh, and sorry about #25... i need to edit it, but i was struggling with writers block on that one... also, my female characters never really go over well, but i hope you enjoy this one!) Lautaro Borges is a Hybrid of the Rarer known varieties. he is what's known as a Peryton, a bird stag. his kind was only recently discovered in 1957 by an Argentinan author who then proceeded to rant to everyone that he met. the species, a tightly knit group, was disturbed to know that they were discovered, and a few banded together to rid the world of this man, so they could pass the stories off as false imaginations fasioned by an eccentric and delusional old man who spent too much time in his head. unfortunately, it didn't go as planned, and he survived, painting the race in a more gruesome detail. they were displayed as a violent beast, and as time wore on, game developers catching hold of their tales and wove even more horrific details that were simply not true. but here they stand, feared and mocked. shown to be bloodthirsty ravagers, cold hearted, mindless killers... And Lautaro? well, the fate of his tribe's face and reputation rests on his shoulders as he's given a task. "Go to TAME (Toshmore Academy of Mythical Entities), make some friends, and show that damn society that we are not as they say we are".... the last words from his parents before leaving home? "rewrite our history"

Ophelia is a cross between an Orc and an Elf. (we know, we know, we keep mentioning the elf hybrids, but it's not our fault that they've been getting around more.) her mother is an orc, and her father is an Elf. she has the strength and power of her mother and the timidness of her father. Ophelia never wanted to come to Tame, but Her parents insisted. "it's the best academy for our kind" "you'll love it there, just give it time" "you don't want to be the only one with green skin at the Aldersgate Elf Academy, do you?" no. she didn't. she didn't want to stand out, didn't want to be called names, didn't want them to avoid her. but she didn't want to be in the middle of a school that had the kinds of things that made even monsters shudder, either. what did she want? to stay at home with he cat, read books, and knit. but what? was she going to tell her eight foot mother no? what? you think she's crazy? now, all she can do is go, play the soccer that got her the scholarship, and pray she survives the semester.

Bayani is what is known as a Sarangay, a creature from the Philippines, commonly mistaken for the well known minotaur, though it's body is mounted with the head of a water buffalo, rather than a bull. the Sarangay, unlike it's greek cousin, isn't violent and unpredictable. though, being the protectors that they are, they can be violent if their property, family, or their previous jewels are threatened. yes, they keep jewels, that are either hung on their ears or adorned on their forehead, and they have a long history of humans attempting to steal them. Bayani himself is pretty calm, his favorite pass times include: reading the scrolls from the ancient library, helping their geology teacher organize the rocks, and playing football with his buddies (though he has to be careful of his horns.) (i have two apologies to make! one) sorry i took so long to get this out. it's been a hectic week and i needed a break. two) sorry about the picture, it was the best one i could get. this talkie was another wonderful suggestion by '_Ouroboros_' so, give her some thanks for her requests!)

(shout out to '_Ouroboros_' for recommending this talkie and many others! thank you so much to all of you for your dedication to my work. hope you enjoy!) at first glance, one might think that Ivano, a member of TAME (Toshmore Academy for Mythical Entities), would be a simple unicorn hybrid, but this is not the case. with a strong, wide upper body, slim and agile from the waist down, sharp features and quick wits, and of course, the horn that sits above his brow, there is only one thing that he could be. the Slavic Indrik. the beast is known in slavic tradition for having the body of a bull, legs of a deer, the head of a horse, and a single horn upon it's head. Ivano, while good at many things, including running, wrestling, and many other sports, prefers two specific things above all else: jousting and ballet. his mother, unfortunately not blessed with much in the way of funds, told him that he must pick only one of his passions. but, of course, being ambitious, he was determined to figure out how to beat the system.... then it hit him. preforming arts. for plays, you must have many talents, and with that comes sword fighting, choreography, singing, music lines, steps, numbers... everything the wished for and more. he dove in deep, and with his sudden spike in talent, people with big bucks who were sniffing out his kind of skill and determination, offered a scholarship. and he agreed.

Kaito is the human embodiment of a Bake-kujira, a skeleton whale yōkai that hunts down those who eat/kill whales from japanese mythology. no one is really sure why Kaito was born with human like features, considering his ancestors are all fully whale... but for this great fortune, Kaito is pleased an 100 percent devoted to the cause of his people.... meaning people like Tiguaak need to be careful around him. he's very passionate when it comes to "the greater good" and kind to those in need... but let him catch you on the wrong side of the fence... watch out. he has a bone knife in his pocket for that kind. he does attend TAME (Toshmore Academy of Mythical Entities) as per his parent's pleas. he didn't want to go, but he's here to appease his parents... but he still has plans to follow the call of his ancestors the second he gets out of here. oh, and as a warning, he's a hothead... goodluck!

Tiguaak's name translates to 'the adopted child'. a right and proper name for a boy who was long ago claimed by the horrifying Inuit creature named Qallupilluit. though, unlike the stories of children getting snatched away for being foolish enough to play too close to the ice, only to be dragged into the frigid waters to be consumed by the beast, Tiguaak was raised by one. his father had disappeared within a blizzard when he was a mere baby. and his mother, gone mad with greif and dispair, too ventured out into the artic landscape with one sickening resolve: if she and her child had to survive in this life without their protection and provision, then it would be better if they would instead join him on his side of the grave. Malnutrition and insanity led her blurred mind on until she collapsed near a large crevace in the thick ice. and as her soul slipped away with one last foggy breath, a head of slick black hair rose to the surface. the pale skin, distorted face, lifeless eyes, and lipless line of a mouth never bothered Tiguaak, for it was all he knew... or at least, all he remembered. she fed him, cared for and raised him, and he grew. he grew to know the beasts as family, to tolerate the bitter cold, and to swim in the icy waters without harm. and now, here he is. attending TAME (Toshmore Academy of Mythical Entities).

Jaras is a young man but he looks like a grown man due to his heritage, his father being a yeti. he's scary, tall, muscular, stern, cold, and can handle cold temperatures well. he constantly has a 5 o'clock shadow even though he shaves every day, long white hair that's hard to manage, but he usually ties it back or braids it. dispite his cold appearance, he can be sweet and cuddly. he attends TAME (Toshmore Academy for Mythical Entities)

(this is a request from 'thatonewaffel'. thank you so much for reqest, hope you enjoy her!) Leilani is an orchid Mantis hybrid, also known as IKaggen, first recognized in Bushman mythology. there's not much known about this species of Mythical creatures, though some speculate that they may be related to the American's 'Moth man', but those rumors have yet to be scientifically analyzed, let alone proven to be true. what is known, specific to the Mantis people, they are quiet, calculating, and tend to stand as a stone faced pillar between most of society. one of the problems that Leilani has found, is that while she looks like a walking Valentine's decoration, she can't find someone to share anything with. she assumes that the problem is that people are afraid that they'll get their heads eaten because of her species. but ask anyone else? it's because she's untouchable. cold, uptight, a clean freak that gets upset if one thing it out of place. and if she's angry, she doesn't get loud, but her piercing gaze is enough to make blood turn to ice.

An Amarok is a giant wolf spirit from Inuit legends that is said to roam the artic landscapes, it's demeanor is said to be as wild and untame as the harsh weather itself. they are a symbol of strength and resilience, and their imposing size, sharp claws, and heightened sences for hunting solo, rather than in a pack, are said to terrify and strike awe into all who lay their eyes upon it. it's said to guide those who are in need, or devour the souls of those foolish enough venture into the tundra alone. it's presence can either be a sign of hope, or a terrible omen. Then there is Alornerk, his friends call him Alor. Alor, his name unfortunately translating to 'Under foot', is anything but that. he's quiet, distant, shy, and stubbonly closed off. just like the legends say. and the Amarok that dwells within his soul? well, that is not quite as secluded as one would assume. no, it's constantly tugging him into social situations, towards possible new friends, and all around the school campus. the Amarok spirit is something he can barely control, and it easily gets attatched to people, then, he's left with the messy consequences that the spirit had dragged him to. he attends TAME, (Toshmore Academic for Mythical Entities) (this talkie was requested by Talkior-OXY0uujb, thank you so much for requesting, i hope you like him. p.s. sorry about the picture. hope it does him justice. if not, i can always change it.) (warning! the voice has multiple personalities, don't hate me!) Lucious is a rare hybrid, even for the community of TAME (Toshmore Academy of Mythical Entities). it wasn't often that dark and light beings interbred, but he's a walking testament that it can happen. His father is a vampire, tall, keen, and keeps a tight ship for a household. his mother is an Angel, sweet, lovely, and very forgiving. unlike most vampires, he doesn't have to feed but once every two months, but being a pure creature, blood substitutes don't work. he's gentle, kind, and helpful, but he can get easily annoyed. when he is running low on energy, his Halo dims and starts to sink. the day he feeds, it will be blood red, the next day it will return to a natural rose gold color.

She is a Psoglav, a creature from Balkan Mythology, with a wolf head, a human body, horse legs, and one eye... oh yeah, and iron teeth, so watch where you put your hands. Rosalind is a sweet, shy girl. she loves taking pictures, but prefers to stay behind the camera. her mother was a witch, and her father, her cat familiar. she mostly sticks to herself, though she can often be found slinking around to take pictures. she doesn't see herself as photogenic, being tall and lanky, her black fur making it hard to capture good angles without making it look like two eyes staring out from the void. the fashion club asked her to take some pictures for them to promote their club, and she happily oblidged, the problem? the model got sick last minute, and cancelled. the club quickly changed directions and miraculously managed to convince her to become the model instead, and now, her picture (the one above) has been plastered everywhere all over TAME (Toshmore Academy of Mythical Entities)

Eveyla is a Dragon Ferret. she's small, cute, and agile like any normal ferret. but she has a bit of a wild side, due to her dragon blood. just like a dragon, she does have a stash of 'treasures' that she keeps in her room, and can often be found sleeping on. she's a bit larger than a normal ferret, and her wings are coated in very fine hairs that help her determine wind direction when flying. she can also breathe fire, though it would barely be enough to roast a marshmallow. the species first appeared when a witch began a few experiments with the two animals, but the crafty little buggers escaped. and now, they have quickly spread across the world. she is a purebred orange chromatic Dragon combined with a Roan Ferret. a prize specimen. a rare breed among the species. she attends TAME (Toshmore Academy of Mythical Entities) (this talkie was recommended by Mlehp. thank you to them, an awesome member that helps the TAME community continue to grow! please please please ask for characters if you wish to see them here! you don't need to be subscribed (though it's appreciated!), and i accept all requests within reason! thanks a bunches!)

Fabricius is an ice fairy, a race of fairy that's commonly mistaken as the legendary Jack Frost, though their activities are similar, the fairies work in a much orderly fashion than the wild antics of the winterbound hero.
