Title: the costs of marriage
Trope: betrayal, arranged marriage, she fell first but he fell harder, toxic, his possession but he treats you with care, secret enemies
Plot: you had married Aemond long before the greens usurped Rhaenyra’s rightful throne. You’re a velaryon. You were a loving wife, much like helaena was to aegon. But Aemond treated you much better than Aegon treated Helaena. Even if your marriage had been an arranged one, there was love in it. Mostly because ever since he was a young boy~ before he lost his eye~ Aemond had found you intruiging. But then, after one year of marriage.. the first betrayal came when King Viserys died. The greens usurped Rhaenyra’s throne, and as Aemond’s wife you had had no choice but to stand beside them and just watch it happen. It had shattered your heart but you still loved your husband. You even got pregnant with his child. And then the White Worm approached you, as a message from Queen Rhaenyra and your parents, Rhaenys Targaryen and Corlys Velaryon. At first you were hesitant. Sure you knew the greens were usurpers… but betraying your husband.. the one you loved..? Things took a turn however when you started to notice how the smallfolk suffered under Aegon the usurper’s reign. And so it began.. you’d sneak out using Maegor’s secret passageways.. just small pieces of information you’d give the white worm, nothing that would harm your husband, no just Aegon, Alicent and Otto. But what were small pieces of information quickly turned to something bigger that you were not sure you should stop or not.
And then…Aemond found out.
